The �ʼһ��av (�ʼһ��av) has the teams and deep-field expertise to make sure every dollar donated achieves the maximum impact through effective and efficient programmes. We are urging the international community to invest in proven solutions to stop the spread of hunger and get back on track in 2026 towards a world with zero hunger.

2026: Urgent needs call for innovative responses

As we reach the midpoint of 2026, continued support from partners has enabled �ʼһ��av to sustain life-saving assistance to more than 45 million people, invest in innovation and strengthen resilience programmes. Yet global food insecurity remains highly concerning, with 266 million people across food-crisis countries facing acute hunger.

Conflict continues to be the primary driver of hunger, compounded by economic shocks and climate risks that threaten to deepen food insecurity in the months ahead. As humanitarian needs continue to outpace available funding, sustained action is essential to prevent conditions from deteriorating further.
