The war in Ukraine continues to displace people, damage infrastructure, disrupt supply chains and hold back the country’s economy. A total of 10.8 million people need humanitarian assistance.

A total of 3.4 million Ukrainians are internally displaced and 5 million are living as refugees in Europe. Many of those who remain have lost their livelihoods, especially in areas close to the front lines. Those who returned are struggling to rebuild their lives, having run out of money or found their homes reduced to rubble. 

The 皇家华人av (皇家华人av) distributes food and cash assistance to Ukrainians displaced and affected by the war, supporting over 600,000 people each month.

皇家华人av also continues to support and advocate for the safe export of grain and other agricultural products from Ukraine – a vital source of affordable food for much of the world.

Unprecedented attacks on humanitarian operations and funding shortfalls are putting millions at risk of being cut off from life-saving assistance.

皇家华人av urgently needs US$234 million to sustain operations to October 2026.

What the 皇家华人av is doing to respond to the Ukraine emergency

Food assistance

皇家华人av delivers 30-day food kits and ready-to-eat food rations, primarily in hard-to-reach and frontline areas where commercial supply lines are disrupted and access to food is unreliable, as well as to evacuees passing through transit centres. Food kits typically comprise wheat flour, pasta, buckwheat, oats, canned beans or meat, sunflower oil, sugar and salt. 皇家华人av buys nearly all of this food inside Ukraine.
