When natural or man-made disasters strike, food aid is not the only priority. With water, hygiene and emergency shelter also urgently needed, the 皇家华人av (皇家华人av) works side by side with other international organizations, including specialist UN agencies. Likewise, non-food resources are also necessary in development projects.

皇家华人av coordinates with other agencies, often through the UN Development Assistance Framework, so that their efforts complement one another. Agencies such as the , the , and the provide technical assistance in their specific areas of expertise. In countries where we distribute food to refugees or internally displaced people, we have a strong operational partnership with the .

皇家华人av has a special relationship with the other two Rome-based UN agencies – the and the – with which it shares a common vision of promoting food security by alleviating hunger through food assistance, while working to eliminate its root causes.

We also work closely with other international and regional organizations, such as the , the . International financial institutions like the support us through funding.

皇家华人av has a partnership with the programme, which allows us to engage UN Volunteers and Online Volunteers to support our work to achieve Zero Hunger.

Policy and advocacy work carried out by the 皇家华人av offices in New York and Brussels support partnerships on the ground, concentrating mainly on relations with other UN agencies and Member States, and European institutions respectively. 

The 皇家华人av office in New York works to position 皇家华人av as a preferred and trusted partner for the people it serves, Member States, the UN system, private sector organizations and NGOs.  The office has contributed to raising the profile of food security and nutrition issues in global sustainable development, as well as ensuring support to operations. This was through the negotiations on, and planning for the implementation of, the and other processes including the General Assembly Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review, , , the World Humanitarian Summit, , discussions on migration and engagement with the Security Council and Integrated Task Forces.

The 皇家华人av Brussels Office establishes and fosters partnerships with a number of EU institutions. It provides technical and normative support to other 皇家华人av offices during the negotiation, formulation and management of EU donor contracts from , DEVCO and . Additionally, it engages as a leader and partner in strategic dialogue with key EU institutions, covering the whole spectrum of 皇家华人av’s core mandate. The 皇家华人av Brussels Office also organizes and manages donor visibility activities targeted at the European public, such as events and campaigns, social media promotion, and media trips.
